Presentation Guidelines

All projects MUST have a url specific to the project (i.e., each project must have its own individual webpage; no class or group project pages can be accepted). Your webpage will be added to the BOOM project archive after BOOM '05 is over.

Your website should begin with a very brief introductory paragraph that describes your project before going into further detail. Examples of websites detailing projects from a similar forum can be viewed at BOOM 2004, BOOM 2003, BOOM 2002, (2001 and prior). You may continue to modify your site after submitting the URL to us.
During the actual event, a maximum of 2 project leaders can be present at the same time.
Computer Demos in addition to Posters/handouts are suggested.
Poster Guidelines: Minimum 24 point bolded font; use color; bulleted statements -- avoid full sentences; utilize handouts for more detailed information. Maximum size for poster: 22 x 28". One poster per project.
Check-in on the day of the event will be based upon the location of your display (we assign it). You'll be notified of the time nearer to 3/9/05.
An easel is available. You must specify this when you register your project.

Helpful hints:

Don't use your poster as your script. Put brief bullet points on your poster, and read your notes.
Remember that less is more. Don't aim to put every bit of information on your poster.
