Cornell Kappa won first place at the 2023 ICPC Greater New York Regional Contest and advanced to the next stage.

They solved 7 problems our of 10 in 7 submissions and ranked the 1st in all undergraduate teams.
After last year’s attempt of a distribued regional, the ACM-ICPC Greater New York Regional Contest returned to Manhattan College this year and is planned to be held on Sunday, November 18. Announced on the GNYR official website. link
In the 42nd ACM-ICPC World Finals held by Peking University in Beijing, China, the Cornell team “SJTU@Cornell” solved 4 problems and ranked 56th out of all 140 teams. Moscos State University team won the cup by solving 9 problems.
After 5 long hours of exhausting competition, fighting over both the difficult problem set and the laggy Internet, the Cornell team “Cornell 2” won the first place of this year’s ACM-ICPC Greater New York Regional! Congratulations to them!
