About CSV Files
Many places in the system allow you to import or export
data using
Comma
Separated
Value files. This is a
commonly used format and can easily be viewed and edited using
Microsoft Excel. Basically, the format is used to simply
represent table structures using commas to separate columns and return
characters to separate rows. For example,
Column
1,Column 2
Data 1,Data 2
Data 3,Data 4 |
=
|
Column
1
|
Column
2

When saving a CSV file from Microsoft Excel, make sure you choose to
keep it in CSV format.
